John is a lawyer with a background in software engineering and philosophy (i.e. a combination of Steve Jobs and Socrates) whose practice focuses on all things Internet. John has been working with DBLG for well over a year and already has significant litigation experience, including researching legal issues and writing dispositive motions. He recently completed his first appellate brief for the Ninth Circuit. He has also made significant contributions to an appellate brief before the Second Circuit.
John brings a foundation of technical knowledge to the DBLG team so clients requiring Internet legal advice can be assured that John has a fundamental grasp of their business models and the technical aspects encompassed therein. John speaks Internet. Moreover, John’s commitment to honesty, integrity, and candor inspires confidence in a DBLG approach that emphasizes proactive planning for our clients’ growth and protection of our client's hard-won rights.
Each programmer aspires to live up to the “Story of Mel” and find innovative, elegant, and efficient solutions to difficult problems. John takes the same approach to the law—harnessing legal procedure as well as substance to develop a detailed and holistic approach that adapts to the needs of each client so they may focus on their own innovation, safe in the knowledge that their legal counsel will be there every step of the way.
