The Digital Business Law Group (DBLG) understands that individuals often have cyberlaw questions that may not require an engagement, but simply require an amount of time sufficient to answer basic questions regarding doing business online, or inquiries of a similar nature. Our 1-800 service is designed with this objective in mind. This service is also suitable for attorneys that may not know how to proceed when clients come to them with these kinds of questions.
The cost is $250.00 (USD) for up to 45 minutes of consultation. If you decide to retain our firm within 48 hours of your call, we will simply credit the cost of the initial consultation. Retaining DBLG means that a signed retainer agreement and the corresponding retainer funding have been received.
There are some questions that simply cannot be answered during an initial 15 minute free consultation. Our 1-800 service allows us to jointly explore your legal issue in a more thorough manner. The more information you provide the more value you will get out of our service. We will also do a preliminary review of documents that you forward, including C&D letters, contracts, etc. In short, we prepare for the call based on the information that you provide. Preparation time averages 30 minutes and this time is in addition to the 45 minute consultation, which is all included as part of the fee.
The quickest way to initiate the process is to Contact Us by filling out our Legal Issue Submission Form. Once we have received your information we will send you an email with available times for the call and instructions for how to make payment. It is imperative that you describe the legal issue with as much information as you currently have available, including information about dates, third parties, websites that may be implicated, etc.
Once payment is confirmed you are sent a payment acknowledgment and verification of the date/time. If you have any questions during this process you can reach us at 800-516-7903. Subsequently, we will call you at the agreed to time and on the number that you specified. If you are not available on the day of the call (at the agreed to time or up to 10 minutes thereafter) then you will need to reschedule.
